Our Programs & Ministries

We have programs for people of all ages at OBBC! Check them out below:

412 Youth Group

The youth group at OBBC is called 412, with 1 Timothy 4:12 leading their mission. Led by Courtney Kindler, 412 has many events and outings, like going laser tagging and to Winter Jam concert. The youth also volunteers to help the church in a multitude of ways, such as cooking breakfast for Easter Sunrise Service (see photo). Along with all their events, the youth gathers for Sunday School at 9:00am on Sunday mornings before service.

Children's Church

Led by Jacquita Lanman, Olive Branch's Children's Church program is one that your children will beg you to take them to! Families start each Sunday morning service together, but then prior to the beginning of the sermon, pre-elementary and elementary-age children have the opportunity to go to Children's Church, located just off the main church area. They sing songs, enjoy a snack, and learn about Jesus in a way that they will understand.

Merge

Merge is our preteen ministry program for upper elementary and middle school students in our church. As with children's church, these students will stay with their families throughout the beginning of service and then will be released to Merge prior to the start of the sermon. Courtney Kindler leads these students by helping them learn to navigate their Bibles and grow in the Word, while also relating teachings to their current life context.They'll also enjoy snacks and games, helping them build relationships with their peers and develop their relationship with Christ!

Women's Ministry

The proverb says, "A woman's work is never done," but on Sunday mornings at Olive Branch, Pam Scudder leads a women's ministry that gives ladies the chance to relax and share their feelings and thoughts with other women who know exactly where they are coming from. The gathering is informal and discussion-based, using videos to highlight themes and those everyday issues that women all face. The gathering begins before church at 9:00am.

Men's Ministry

The men have a gathering every Sunday before church, starting at 9:00am, led by Richard Kindler. Richard leads the group through a wide range of topics. You'll have the opportunity to gather with a group of men to work through and discuss topics relating to what challenges men face every day. With Richard's down to earth and comforting nature, we know you'll love this gathering, even if it's your first time.

Children's Gathering

Marcia Bowling leads or children's gathering every Sunday morning beginning at 9:00am. Targeted for children in elementary school, the gathering combines sound Biblical teachings with fun, as students are involved in creative projects that help them understand the topic of the morning. Marcia's room was designed by and for her students, with brightly colored walls and comfortable furniture. Parents can relax and enjoy their gatherings knowing that their children are having a great time with other kids!

Bible Study

Olive Branch prides itself on a feeling of family, but we are also devoted to growing closer to God by studying His Word through the Bible. Keep up to date on upcoming Bible Studies by viewing the event calendar! Come see what's it's all about! We'd love to have you!
